Teresa Aversa is an artist based in Toronto, Canada. Her diverse practice includes photography, sculpture, installation, and interdisciplinary projects that incorporate many or all of these mediums together. Within a single series, she frequently combines disparate styles, references, and techniques. While her practice may vary in materials and subject matter, a number of strong themes are present including the art of collecting, personal memory and the examination and dissection of contemporary pop culture.
